The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the Indian military cadet corps with its head Quarters at New Delhi. It is open to school and college students on voluntary basis. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course but are given preference during selections based on their achievements during training.
NCC unit of the College has always been active and both boys and girls are faring well in all the training camps. The NCC unit also actively participates in the Independence Day and Republic Day parades at Kurseong, and other activities such as blood donation, tree plantation, AIDS awareness rally, slum clearance, disaster management & relief and other social schemes. The College NCC unit is under the 5 Bengal Batallion of NCC, Darjeeling.
